Bacon Jam Beef Burger with Fried Egg and Cheddar Beer Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 brioche burger buns
- 1/2 cup bacon jam
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup beer
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for garnish
Instructions:
Set your grill or skillet on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready
Separate the ground beef into four equal parts and shape them into burger patties while the grill heats up
Add salt and pepper to each patty
For medium-rare or to your liking, grill the burger patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side
During the last minute of cooking, add a lot of bacon jam and shredded cheddar cheese to the top of each patty
Put the lid back on the grill to melt the cheese
Melt the butter over medium heat in a different pan
Put the eggs in the pan and fry them until theyre done the way you like
Add pepper and salt
In a small saucepan, heat the beer over medium-low heat while the eggs are cooking
Once it starts to simmer, add the rest of the shredded cheddar cheese slowly while whisking it in
Keep doing this until you have a smooth and creamy cheddar beer sauce
Cover the bottom half of each brioche bun with a lettuce leaf
This will help you put the burgers together
The cheddar beer sauce, a fried egg, and a bacon jam-filled beef patty should be put on top
You can add tomato and onion slices if you want to
Add the top half of the brioche bun to finish
