Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
For a vegan take on buffalo wings, try these crispy buffalo cauliflower wings. You can eat them as a snack or as an appetizer at a party.
Ingredients:
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup vegan buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted vegan butter or margarine
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450F 230C
In a bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth
Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, shaking off excess, and place them on a lined baking sheet
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy
In another bowl, mix together buffalo sauce and melted vegan butter
Once cauliflower is done, toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated
Return cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes
Serve hot with your favorite vegan ranch or dipping sauce
