Creamy Herbed Bacon and Egg Skillet

Making this creamy bacon and egg skillet with herbs is a quick and easy way to enjoy a low-carb and gluten-free breakfast. There is a lot of flavor from the crispy bacon and fresh herbs, and the heavy cream makes the eggs very creamy.

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs such as parsley, chives, and dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:

Put chopped bacon in a pan and cook it over medium heat until it gets crispy

Take the bacon out of the pan and set it aside

Leave the bacon fat in the pan

Mix eggs, heavy cream, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl with a whisk

Over medium heat, melt the butter in the pan with the bacon fat

Mix the eggs and add them

As the eggs start to set, use a spatula to gently stir them and add the bacon pieces

Keep cooking the eggs until they reach the consistency you want

Serve hot, and if you want, top with more herbs
