White Wine Cream Sauce Pasta
Enjoy the rich flavors of this creamy white wine sauce pasta. The heavy cream makes it extra creamy, and the white wine gives it a subtle tang. This dish is easy to make and tastes great, making it great for a cozy weeknight dinner or a special event.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound pasta of your choice
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Put the butter and olive oil in a pan and heat them over medium-low heat
Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute, until the garlic smells good
Add the white wine and let it simmer for about two to three minutes, until its almost half gone
Add the heavy cream and season with pepper and salt to taste
Let the sauce slowly cook until it gets a little thicker, about 5 to 7 minutes
Stir it every now and then
Toss the cooked pasta in the pan with the sauce until it is well covered
Add grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley to the top of the hot pasta before serving
